Responsibilities

• Wrap, package, label, and date meat and poultry products accurately.
• Provide attentive customer service and promote store offerings.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and rotate stock properly.
• Record information in logs and assist with inventory control.
• Support junior staff training and product merchandising.
• Assist with shrimp, deli, or meat prep as required.
• Adhere to all food safety protocols and company policies.
• Contribute to achieving store sales and customer satisfaction.

The Meat Wrapper is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, accurate and timely fashion. The Meat Wrapper will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Here’s Where You’ll Have An Impact

• Adherence to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, corporate policies and Health and Safety, and other programs and initiatives
• Provide customer service to meet customer needs
• Accurately wraps, packages, prices, labels, and dates all meat and poultry products in a financially responsible manner
• Keep work area clean and presentable at all times
• Handle, organize, and rotate products in accordance with company standards
• Accurately records information in all appropriate logs
• Perform program execution and merchandising product, following company presentation standards
• Handle and prepare deli products in accordance with company quality standards and food safety protocols
• Increase store sales by actively promoting products
• Participate in the training of junior staff
• Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures
• Maintain and prepare meat products for service case, if applicable
• Process department shrink
• Other duties as required
