Job summary

Sobeys Delta location is seeking a Meat Supervisor to lead a fast-paced department and coach a friendly, well-trained staff. You will supervise the department in the absence of the Manager, foster customer loyalty, and support merchandising, quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include training, ensuring product quality and rotation, assisting with ordering and inventory, and maintaining accurate stock while staying compliant with food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Full knowledge of department operations and skills.

The Meat Supervisor is responsible to ensure a superior customer service experience by coaching, and developing friendly, well-trained staff. The Supervisor will supervise the department and staff and act as the go-to person in the absence of the Department Manager and Assistant. The Supervisor will foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
