Job summary

Fresh Direct Produce Ltd. is seeking full-time Production Line workers to operate equipment and contribute to the production of high-quality produce. You will work in a team setting to meet production targets while upholding food safety and quality standards.

You will learn to operate dicers, cutters, slicers, shredders and packaging equipment, maintain HACCP compliance, and keep production areas clean and sanitized between shifts. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Food Safe Level 1 certification required.
• points to be supplied by Islands West?
• Hepatitis A vaccination is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the full shift.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to manufacture high-quality fresh fruit & vegetable items.
• Learn to use dicers, cutters, slicers, shredders and packaging equipment.
• Maintain quality and freshness throughout the department.
• Follow HACCP policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize production areas between switchovers and at shift end.
• Operate or perform other duties as directed by supervision.
