Job summary

Riverside Health Care in Rainy River District, Canada, is seeking a Finance Clerk to support resident accounts, AR/AP/payroll, and finance administration across multiple Long-Term Care homes. Qualifications

• Grade12 or equivalent (finance/accounting education an asset).

• Strong Excel and computer skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel between sites.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident accounts in PointClickCare.
• Process billing, payments, adjustments, and account updates.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond to resident and family inquiries.
• Travel to Emo and Rainy River LTC homes to provide on-site resident account support.
• Process payments and deposits.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and assist with collection activities.
• Support reconciliations, trust accounts, and month-end tasks.
• Assist with accounts payable processing, general ledger entries, and financial reporting.
• Provide support across various finance functions as needed.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized Finance Clerk to provide supportacross resident accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable,payroll/benefits support, and general finance administration across multipleLong-Term Care homes, including Rainycrest, Emo Health Centre, and Rainy River.

This positionrequires regular travel to the Emo and Rainy River Long-Term Care homes toprovide on-site support to residents, families, and staff. The Finance Clerkwill serve as a flexible resource within the Finance Department, providingcoverage and assistance across multiple finance functions during employeeabsences, vacancies, workload pressures, and special projects.

Payroll & Administrative Support

• Assist withpayroll processing (timesheets, data entry, verification)
• Support benefitsand pension administration (HOOPP)
• Maintain filingsystems and financial records
• Supportstatistical reporting and data entry

Qualifications

• Grade12 or equivalent (finance/accounting education an asset)
• 1–3years finance, AR, or payroll experience
• PointClick Care experience an asset
