Job summary

Carleton Dining Services, operated by Aramark, invites you to join a dynamic team on the Carleton University campus in Ottawa. We’re hiring full-time Cleaner/Utility/Dishwasher to keep front and back of house and the dish room clean and running smoothly.

You’ll work with a supportive team, follow directions, and help maintain a safe, inclusive work environment. Prior cleaning or dishwashing experience is a plus; training is provided; background check required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a janitor, cleaner, dishwasher or utility is an asset.
• Able to follow direction and work with minimal supervision.
• Enjoy working with others in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the operation.
• Remove trash and clear kitchen and trash receptacles.
• Clean various industrial equipment.
• Operate an Industrial Floor Cleaner.
• Stock dining room with clean dishes, cups and cutlery.
• Clean and sort dishes.
• Ensure adherence to Aramark Policies and Procedures.
• May perform other job duties as required.
