Responsibilities

  • Removes cash boxes from slot machines and secures drops.
  • Transfers drops to count room areas with a security escort.
  • Empties cash boxes and table game drop boxes.
  • Participates in physical currency counts on the casino floor.
  • Loads and balances NRT self-redemption units and other drops.
  • Verifies bank receipts and ensures compliant processing of all drops.
  • Delivering GEM customer service and building healthy work relationships.
  • Ensures compliance with licensing, health and safety regulations and internal controls.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Cage management and supervisory team and with the guidance of the Lead Count Room Attendant, this position is responsible for picking up and securing the bill validator drop and/or the table games drop and ensuring its accountability. Must work well within a team, excel at multi-tasking and display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. He/she will contribute to a safe and welcoming work environment for all coworkers. Must respect and adhere to all policies and procedures, regulations and Internal Controls.

Above all else, must embrace and be aligned with Casino Nova Scotia’s culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences.

  • Removes cash boxes from slot machines
  • Ensure that all drops are transferred to the count room areas with a security escort
  • Empties cash boxes and table game drop boxes
  • Transfers assets to the proper department using proper procedures and attention
  • Participates in the physical count of all currency from the casino floor.

Education And Qualifications

  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment is required

  • Must have daytime availability (beginning at 7:30am)
