Pine is hiring a Full Stack Developer in Toronto to design, build, and scale the technology powering our fintech platform. You will work across the stack, from UI to backend services, delivering products used by thousands of Canadians.

Join a fast-moving startup that leverages React, Next.js, Kotlin, AWS, and AI-assisted workflows to ship high-quality software quickly. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams and have opportunities to influence architecture and tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience building modern web applications in a professional software environment.
• Strong proficiency with React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience developing backend services with modern typed languages (Kotlin, Golang, C#, Java, Rust).
• Solid understanding of API design, distributed systems, and scalable architecture.
• Experience with Git, PRs, and modern CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy high-quality full-stack applications.
• Develop modern, responsive UI using React and Next.js.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver great experiences.
• Contribute to architecture, planning, and system design discussions.
