Job summary

NearSource seeks a Full-Stack Developer III to join a product engineering team focused on 3D design, engineering, and manufacturing software. You will contribute to cross-platform development, ensuring consistent experiences across native, mobile, and browser environments.

You will work with modern web technologies and collaborate with software engineers, QA professionals, and designers across global teams in Toronto and beyond.

Qualifications

• 5 to 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Experienced with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node/NPM, React, and Redux.
• Strong understanding of modern web technologies and architecture.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and code collaboration.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, global engineering environment.
• Commitment to continuous technical growth and customer-focused delivery.
• Proven track record delivering production software.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality software used across enterprise product solutions.
• Develop client-side web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, and Node/NPM.
• Contribute to cross-platform frameworks ensuring parity between native, mobile, and browser development.
• Participate in software architecture, technical design, and code reviews.
• Develop task estimates, evaluate technical risks, and identify dependencies for planning.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and designers across Toronto and global locations.
• Apply AI coding assistants as part of daily development workflow.
• Contribute to secure, stable, maintainable, production-ready software.
• Support continuous technical growth and a strong engineering culture.
