The RAD team delivers tactical solutions ranging from small enhancements to complex integration projects, aligned with broader IT strategies.

Main Purpose:

We seek a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our agile RAD team. The candidate will be responsible for developing web applications, ensuring seamless integration of front-end and back-end components. A solid understanding of client-side and server-side technologies, coupled with the ability to build scalable, user-friendly applications, is essential. Knowledge of the commodity trading industry is crucial, as you will work closely with end users to develop solutions supporting the full commodity cycle. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate in a fast-paced, data-driven trading environment, contributing to innovative solutions in the commodities industry.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full development lifecycle of applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in technical design and develop complex application enhancements.
• Investigate and resolve high-severity issues, identifying root causes.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement interfaces and integrated solutions with partners.
• Coordinate deployment and scaling of applications with IT teams.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and performance issues.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in server-side programming (C# or Python), with focus on scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular, and JavaScript, Typescript, CSS.
• Experience with database management, particularly SQL on RDBMs like Oracle.
• API development and integration skills, including RESTful and GraphQL.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as GitLab, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning.
• Effective time management to handle multiple tasks.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of full stack development experience.
• At least 4 years in a technical leadership role.
• Experience in commodity trading or related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Reporting Structure:

• Report to the Head of Trading IT: North America.
• Work under the direction of the Chief Architect: North America.
