Job summary

Cozey in Mississauga, Canada, is seeking a warehouse associate to operate Reach & Forklift and perform core and support activities in a newly opened operation.

You will handle receiving, picking, staging, shipping, inventory audits, and quality control, while upholding health and safety standards. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, with 40 hours and paid overtime; salary is $23 per hour with a 10% bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience operating material handling equipment in a production/warehouse environment.
• Mandatory forklift license/certification.
• Able to work in Canada.
• Experience in a small team or startup is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach & Forklift for warehouse movements.
• Perform daily core and support activities (receiving, picking, staging, shipping, quality control, inventory auditing).
• Propose and lead initiatives to improve DC activities.
• Enforce health & safety practices in the workplace.
• Take accountability for core and support activities and propose action plans when targets are not met.

WhatWe’reLookingFor:

• Ability to work physically: standing,movingandlifting upto 49 lbs (22kg) in variable temperatures


• 2+years experienceoperating material handling equipment (Reach&Forklift)in a production environment (distribution center, warehouse, factory). Will be testedduring interview.


• Mandatory forklift and reach operator license (proofrequired)


• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes


• Experience in a quality control environment an asset


• Eligible to work inCanada
