Job summary

Cozey, an online-first furniture brand, seeks a Fulfillment Center Coordinator for the Montreal facility to keep the evening shift running smoothly. You will ensure accurate picking, staging, and shipping while coordinating with floor teams, FC leadership, and carriers.

You’ll lead task assignments, resolve issues quickly, and help maintain inventory accuracy. A strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement defines this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a fulfillment center or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multistep processes consistently.
• Experience in a quality control environment is a plus.
• Clear, proactive communication and a problem-solving mindset.
• Experience working in a small team or fast-growing environment is a plus.
• The ability to work physically for extended periods, including standing, moving, and lifting up to 49 lbs (22 kg).
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily evening shift activities across receiving, picking, staging, and shipping, so work flows smoothly from the dock to the truck.
• Check that outbound shipments meet Cozey's accuracy, labelling, and quality standards before they leave the building, protecting the delivery experience for every customer.
• Assign and follow up on tasks across the team, adjusting as priorities change to keep the shift efficient.
• Resolve operational issues like inventory discrepancies or labelling errors quickly, and flag recurring problems so they get fixed at the source.
• Keep FC supervisors, managers, and carriers informed in real time, so handoffs and pickups run without surprises.
• Enforce safety standards on the floor and address hazards as soon as they come up.
• Help train new team members and step in to support or cover for FC leadership when needed.
• Contribute to inventory accuracy and process improvement initiatives, sharing what you see on the floor to make the shift run better.

The mission of the Fulfillment Center Coordinator at Cozey

Reporting to the Fulfillment Center Supervisor, the mission of the Fulfillment Center Coordinator is to keep the evening shift at our Montreal fulfillment center moving, so every order is received, picked, staged, and shipped accurately and on time. You'll be the link between the floor team, FC leadership, and our carriers, catching issues early and fixing them before they reach a customer. This role is based at our fulfillment center in Mont-Royal, on the evening shift, Monday to Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (40 hours per week, with paid overtime).
