Job summary

Cozy? Cozey is seeking a Manager, Fulfillment Center in Montreal to run a 100,000 sq ft site with 5,000+ SKUs, owning budget and ensuring on-time shipping and inventory accuracy.

You will lead a large team, develop training, and partner with cross-functional teams while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong labor planning, KPI-driven decision making, and hands-on experience with WMS and AI tools to optimize throughput.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution operations.
• 3+ years leading a site or large team.
• Fluent French and English, spoken and written.
• Track record of owning a P&L or operating budget.
• Hands-on labor planning, wave planning, throughput, and inventory accuracy.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and KPI dashboards.
• Advanced experience using AI tools to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own daily flow across receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and outbound shipping.
• Manage the site as the central returns hub for Canada, improving cycle time and throughput.
• Protect inventory accuracy across all SKUs and locations.
• Plan labor to volume, monitor units per hour and cost per unit, and run weekly labor reviews.
• Own wave planning and coordinate outbound handoff with delivery fleet/partners.
• Lead, coach, and develop shift supervisors and floor leads; build training for consistency.
• Maintain safety, organization, and compliance, partner on cross-border/product registry.
• Contribute COS rollout by translating floor reality into system requirements.

The mission of the Manager, Fulfillment Center at Cozey

As Manager, Fulfillment Center reporting to the Director, Fulfillment Operations, your mission is to run Cozey's Montreal fulfillment center like it's your own business. You'll lead a fast-paced, 100,000 sq ft site carrying 5,000+ active SKUs, own the budget, and make the daily calls that keep orders shipping on time, inventory accurate, and the Cozey delivery promise intact for every customer.

What you'll be doing

• Own daily flow across receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and outbound shipping for our 5,000+ SKU catalogue, hitting ship-date and dock-to-stock targets every day.


• Run the site as Cozey's centralized returns hub for Canada, driving cycle time, throughput, and recovery on resalable product.


• Protect inventory accuracy across every SKU and bin location, and close out discrepancies within SLA.


• Plan labor to volume, own units per hour, cost per unit, and overtime, and run a weekly labor review that turns the numbers into action on the floor.


• Own wave and release planning and coordinate the outbound handoff with our delivery fleet and partners like GoBolt and AMJ, keeping trailers full and on time.


• Lead, coach, and develop your shift supervisors and floor leads, and build the training that keeps quality consistent across every shift.


• Keep the site safe, organized, and compliant, and partner with our compliance team on cross-border and product registry requirements.


• Bring hands-on expertise to the Cozey Operating System (COS) rollout, translating floor reality into system requirements and driving adoption on your site.

We'd love to hear from you if you have

• 7+ years in fulfillment, warehouse, or distribution operations, including 3+ years leading a site or a large team.


• Fluent French and English, spoken and written.


• A track record of owning a P&L or operating budget and delivering to it.


• Hands-on command of labor planning, wave planning, throughput, and inventory accuracy in a high-SKU, fast-paced environment.


• Comfort with a warehouse management or operating system, and the ability to build a KPI dashboard, spot the story in the numbers, and act on it.


• Advanced experience using AI tools to improve outcomes.


• Floor credibility and a bias for action, with the ability to lead across shifts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
