Big Country Equipment Repair is seeking a Fuel & Lube Technician to service heavy mine and construction equipment across Western Canada. You will fuel, lubricate, and perform oil changes on Excavators, Dozers, Haul Trucks, Rock Trucks, Graders and Loaders in a mining environment.
The role requires attending to 12-hour shifts on a 14x14 rotation, with a chance to transition into a heavy equipment apprenticeship.
Base Rate: $37.50.
OT: 4 hours daily, paid out at $56.25/hr.
Schedule: 14X14 - 12-hour days
Night Shift Premium: $1.25/hr

Travel Allowance: A travel allowance will be provided upon arrival and upon departure from your 14-day shift rotation.

As a Fuel & Lube Technician, you will be entrusted with the critical responsibility of servicing a wide range of construction and mining equipment safely and efficiently. The equipment includes Excavators, Dozers, Haul Trucks, Rock Trucks, Graders, and Loaders, all within a mining environment. Your role will involve lubricating components, fueling machinery, and performing oil and grease changes on off-road construction and mining equipment. You will be expected to operate the fuel and lube trucks responsibly, safely, and effectively, while maintaining professional and collaborative relationships with the Maintenance Department. This position also offers qualified candidates a unique opportunity to transition into a Heavy Equipment Apprenticeship.
