Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart is recruiting for a cashiers/merchandisers role in Canada. You will support customer service, manage cash and merchandising tasks, and ensure store policies are followed while delivering a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Planning and decision-making abilities to organize store operations.
• Independent thinking related to organizing store.
• Problem solving to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Managing the customer service functions, including cash, cashiers and merchandising.
• Trains cashiers/merchandisers in job functions and provides on-going guidance.
• Ensures cashier/merchandising staff comply with all store policies and operating procedures.
• Manages loss prevention standards and cashier tracking, including daily cash office inventory and tracking sheets.
• Handles customer inquiries, refunds and exchanges, and promotes CSI surveys.
• Ensures shelves are clean and displays are set up and rotated as directed by AFSM/FSM.
• Maintains store housekeeping and image, complies with health and safety requirements, and may perform clerical or banking duties.
• Performs other duties as required including Cashier duties when necessary.
