Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Front Store Manager to assist in managing people, stock and financial resources in a busy neighbourhood store. You’ll focus on moving products from backroom to sales floor while upholding store standards and customer experience.

You’ll collaborate with the management team to schedule staff, hire where needed (excluding Pharmacy), mentor employees and drive a customer-centric culture. The role blends leadership with strong planning and financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Previous retail management experience.
• Ability to drive the business and support corporate programs.
• Superior interpersonal, coaching and communication skills.
• Strong planning and budgeting capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Store Standards to optimize customer experience, traffic and profitability.
• Works with Management Team to ensure standards are in effect 100% of the time.
• Helps manage labour scheduling and leverages WFM to maximize productivity.
• Hires and supports hiring for all departments, excluding Pharmacy.
