Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help the Front Store Manager oversee human, physical and financial resources. The role focuses on improving product flow from backroom to sales floor to meet store objectives.

You will work with the Management Team to maintain store standards, schedule labor using Work Force Management, and assist with hiring for all departments except Pharmacy, while driving engagement and development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading retail staff and store operations.
• Ability to plan, schedule and optimize labor resources.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
• Proven track record in inventory management and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Front Store Manager in managing resources to meet objectives.
• Maintain store standards to optimize customer experience.
• Lead labour scheduling and leverage WFM to maximize productivity.
