Shoppers Drug Mart is recruiting to support store-level customer service, cashiering and merchandising functions. The role involves training cashiers, handling daily store operations and ensuring policy compliance to deliver a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing the customer service functions, including cash, cashiers and merchandising.
• Trains cashiers/merchandisers in job functions and provides on-going guidance.
• Ensures cashier/merchandising staff comply with store policies and operating procedures.
• Ensures store employees present proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy.
• Answers inquiries regarding location of product, rainchecks, etc.
• Resolves customer issues according to established guidelines (refunds, exchanges, etc.).
• Promotes the CSI Survey.
• Maintains shelves clean and organized with proper rotation.
• Ensures product displays are set up and taken down as directed by the AFSM/FSM.
• Maintains housekeeping and store image; complies with Health and Safety requirements.
• May perform clerical and banking duties; cash handling as needed.
• Complies with all store policies and loss prevention policies.
• Perform other duties as required including Cashier duties when necessary.
