Role:

The Guest Services Agent performs various tasks including checking guests in and out, delivering messages, handling complaints, making reservations, and answering calls. This role is crucial in creating the first impression of the hotel for guests.

Responsibilities:
  1. Enhance guest experience through exceptional service.
  2. Respond to inquiries about the property and services.
  3. Relay guest requests to staff and enter messages into the management system.
  4. Answer calls promptly and follow emergency procedures when needed.
  5. Handle reservations, modifications, and payments.
  6. Assist with guest requests and resolve complaints.
  7. Maintain accurate folios and perform checkouts.
  8. Maintain knowledge of promotions and programs.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • High energy, good communication, and typing skills.
  • Ability to handle stress and work flexible hours.
  • Basic reading and math skills.
Training:

Mandatory compliance training within 30 days of hire, including courses on safety, cybersecurity, responsible gaming, and harassment awareness.

Working Conditions:

Physical demands include standing, walking, and occasional lifting. Environmental conditions vary from temperature extremes to noise and smoke exposure. Effort levels are mostly light to moderate.
