Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, handle and carry trays, small wares and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds as needed.
• Good balance and ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach and squat during shifts.
• Able to stand and move with pace for extended periods.
• Effective communication with supervisors, staff and guests.
• Continuous use of POS equipment and serving responsibilities.
• Work in environments with varying temperatures and noises.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and restocks service stations before, during and after service; restocks glassware, ice and other items needed for the bar.
• Serves water, bread and butter to guests and refreshments throughout the dining experience.
• Removes dishes, silverware and glassware when guests finish using them; replaces items for next course.
• Returns dirty dishware and linen to the dishwashing area; sorts items for proper disposition.
• Resets vacated tables according to training materials.
• Communicates guest requests or needs to the service staff.
