Job summary

Moxies is seeking an Assistant Manager in Kelowna to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and staff management. You will help with guest satisfaction, sales-building activities and controllable profit plan achievement while coaching a team of 15–20 crew members.

This role emphasizes staff selection, retention, and continuous operational improvement with a strong commitment to hospitality and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years' experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to interpret financial statements and understand contributing factors.
• Licensed to operate an automobile without restrictions; reliable transportation.
• Strong commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned shifts and ensure brand standards are met by hourly staff.
• Develop and coach hourly employees on standards, policies and guest programs.
• Assist in attracting, hiring, onboarding and retaining hourly staff.
• Support development of employees through training programs and plans.
• Maintain compliance with brand standards and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
