Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a Front-End Supervisor at an independently owned Sobeys affiliate store in Ontario. The role focuses on delivering superior customer service by coaching and developing staff, supervising the department, and acting as the go-to person in the absence of the Department Manager.

You will foster loyalty, meet customer needs, and drive engagement. The position requires fostering a positive shopping environment, leading by example, and ensuring adherence to SOP, OH&S, and inventory

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in a retail or front-end role.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop friendly, well-trained staff.
• Supervise department in absence of manager and assistant.
• Foster customer loyalty and fulfill customer needs.
• Lead and monitor staff to meet SOP and safety standards.
• Schedule breaks and department activities, monitor inventory.
