Job description

About Us:

AIRE Ancient Baths are temples dedicated to creating the ultimate relaxation experience, where time does not exist. Inspired by the tradition of baths from ancient Roman, Greek, and Ottoman civilizations, the AIRE Experience always takes place in restored historical buildings in the center of globally acclaimed cities.

But what truly brings this experience to life goes beyond walls and water — it's the people behind it. Our true pride lies not only in the experience itself, but in the people who make it possible. At AIRE, we foster an inclusive, human, and collaborative environment. Our culture is rooted in the ambition to achieve the extraordinary, excellence in every detail, diversity as a source of creativity, and a warm and generous spirit that inspires, connects, and evolves.

Our Toronto Location:

Amidst the timeless charm of Toronto’s Fashion District, AIRE finds its home in a historic Edwardian Classicism building, once the office and warehouse of the Copp Clark publishing company. Built in 1912 and later designated a heritage site, its original wood structure and towering pillars remain, preserving the character of its storied past that once held the art of printing and now embraces the art of relaxation.

Honoring its literary and industrial past, the space is adorned with vintage books, printing presses which are subtle echoes of its history. AIRE Toronto offers a unique experience with a dry sauna and a Palestra, an indoor/outdoor bath area seamlessly connected to the interior through two jet baths, creating a tranquil escape where past and present merge in perfect harmony.

The Role:

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will support the front desk team and provide premier quality service to guests. The successful candidate will be an energetic team player who has a passion for engaging and assisting high-end clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the aesthetic condition and organization of the entire welcome/reception area.
  • Engage with clients, ensuring all are tended to and having a positive experience, providing excellent customer service to resolve issues.
  • Direct/Support the Front Desk Attendants and Host regarding daily workflows.
  • Troubleshoot reservation system challenges.
  • Oversee all transactions; managing the payment process.
  • Monitor gift package supply levels; re-stock when required.
  • Enforce uniform policy across the front desk and reception team.
  • Remain in constant communication with the Front Desk Manager or MOD, regarding workflow disruptions.
  • Perform other front desk-related tasks as needed.

Who You Are:

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a client service setting, required.
  • Have at least 1-2 years of supervisor experience, required.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, preferred.
  • Maintain company standards of luxury, glamour, warmth, energy, and accommodation.

  • Display a friendly, energetic, outgoing, and personable demeanor.
  • Have a heightened sense of organization and can follow detailed instructions.
  • Can prioritize, organize, and make appropriate judgment calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; bend and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be flexible with their schedule. *Weekend and holiday hours will be required.

Why You Should Join Us:

  • Be part of a brand-new opening and help bring the AIRE Experience to Toronto for the very first time.
  • Take the lead in building a new team from scratch, shaping the culture and energy of a space unlike any other.
  • Join a company that creates unique wellness experiences wherever it goes — blending history, atmosphere, and emotion in an unforgettable way.
  • Enjoy 80% coverage on health, dental, and vision — because your well-being is at the heart of what we do.
  • Celebrate your birthday with a complimentary AIRE Experience, and enjoy exclusive employee discounts for yourself, friends, and family.
