Job summary

View Dental clinics in Toronto are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients at in-person locations. You will help manage appointments, patient flow, and basic billing in a fast-paced multi-location environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of customer service or front-desk experience, preferably in a dental setting, and familiarity with practice management software such as Dentrix.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, front desk, or office administration.
  • Experience in a dental or clinical environment is a plus.
  • Experience using dental practice management software such as Dentrix is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while maintaining an efficient treatment calendar.
  • Check patients in and out and support smooth patient flow throughout the day.
  • Collect and process payments and assist with basic billing inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and demographic information.
  • Verify insurance information and assist with insurance documentation when required.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including data entry, filing, scanning, and managing office supplies.
  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative team members to support patient care.
  • Provide coverage and support at multiple View Dental locations as needed.

Role Overview

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients.
