Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service or administrative role preferred.
  • First Aid certification an asset, not necessary.

Job description

Location: Powell River/qathet Regional District

Salary Or Wage: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Type: Part Time

List of Requirements
  • Driver’s license and vehicle required.
  • Experience working with mental health clients preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jane App (an asset but not mandatory).
  • First Aid certification an asset, not necessary.
  • Criminal record check.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service or administrative role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks accounting software (preferred but not required).
List of Duties
  • Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and associates in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and office space.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the booking system for new and existing clients.
  • Process client invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as cash reconciliation and invoicing
  • Assist in maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders as needed.
  • Handle administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
  • Provide administrative support to associates other departments as needed.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
