Kal Tire in West Kelowna, BC is hiring a Front Counter Sales Representative for a seasonal, full-time role starting at $20.56/hour. You will be the first contact for customers in-store, helping them choose products and services while keeping things moving.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and sales experience.
• Interest in automotive (tires, basic vehicle knowledge, or parts lookup is an asset).
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills with a practical, customer-first approach.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license is an asset.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product and service inquiries.
• Prepare quotes, explain options clearly, and support sales decisions.
• Complete vehicle check-ins, including gathering mileage, tire condition, and service details (outdoors in all weather).
• Look up parts, pricing, and availability using internal systems.
• Prepare invoices and process transactions accurately.
• Answer calls, book appointments, and maintain accurate customer records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with the shop team to ensure a smooth customer experience.

As a Front Counter Sales Representative, you'll be the first point of contact in the store - helping customers choose the right products and services while keeping things moving. This is a temporary position with full-time hours for the duration of the contract.

Store Details

• Hours of Operation:
  • Monday to Friday: 7:30AM - 6:00PM
  • Saturday, Sunday 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Shifts will be scheduled within store operating hours and may include weekends.
