Job summary

Oxford Learning Markham Boxgrove is seeking a part-time French teacher/tutor to coach students in a small-group setting (max 3 per teacher). The role runs after school and in the evenings, with occasional Saturdays, and requires strong French and English skills. All curriculum is provided and sessions can be in-person at Markham Boxgrove.

Flexibility to commute is needed as the role is in-person. Prior tutoring or teaching experience at grades 9-12 is preferred, and vulnerable sector screening

Qualifications

• Strong background in spoken and written French and English.
• Experience teaching/tutoring French at middle/high school level is a plus.
• Lessons are provided; no lesson planning required.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at a time in small group settings.
• Teach online and in-person sessions in the after-school/evening hours.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and provide post-lesson notes.
