Job summary

Oxford Learning Richmond Hill West is seeking a part-time French teacher/tutor to support Grade 9–12 students in a small-group setting. Classes run after school and in the evenings, with in-person sessions at our Richmond Hill West location.

You will teach in French, follow Oxford Learning methodologies, and provide post-lesson notes and daily updates. Relocation not offered; vulnerability screening is required.

Qualifications

• Strong written and spoken French and English.
• Experience tutoring/teaching at least up to Grade 12 level preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field; teaching cert is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to three students at a time in a small-group setting.
• Deliver sessions in French, in-person and online following Oxford Learning methodologies.
• Fill in post-lesson notes and update daily communications with students.
• Maintain a friendly, professional manner at all times.
• Schedule includes after-school, evenings, and some Saturdays.
