Job summary

Oxford Learning Orleans is seeking a part‑time tutor to teach French and English to K‑12 students, handling in‑person sessions and occasional online support. You will manage up to three students per session using Oxford Learning methods, with post‑lesson notes and daily updates to families.

The role requires strong written and oral skills in both languages, a relevant degree, and a willingness to work evenings and some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
• Fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
• Teaching certification an asset
• Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten‑to‑Grade 12 curriculum

Responsibilities

Part‑Time French & English Tutor Wanted

Gain valuable teaching experience! Oxford Learning Orleans is currently seeking part‑time teacher‑tutors for a role in our learning centre. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys teaching language, and is passionate about helping others build their skills.

Position Requirements

Work schedule: Summer (Monday‑Friday 3:30 pm‑7:00 pm), School year (Monday‑Thursday 4:00 pm‑8:00 pm) and some Saturdays (10:00 am‑3:00 pm).

This role is in‑person only. You must be able to commute to the location; relocation packages are not available.

Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field

Job Details

Schedule: Evenings, Monday‑Friday; Saturday availability
