Job summary

Fred’s Italian is seeking an experienced bartender/server to join our neighbourhood restaurant team in a fast-paced setting. You will craft cocktails, serve guests, guide menu selections, and deliver a memorable hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year serving experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year bartending experience preferred.
• Valid Serving It Right certification.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Friendly and confident communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy services.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to our guests.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Guide guests through the menu and make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations.
• Upsell menu items, cocktails, wine, and features naturally.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Process guest payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and service area.
• Work collaboratively with the FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth service.
• Follow all food safety, liquor service, and sanitation standards.
