Job summary

EDGE in Hay River, Northwest Territories, is seeking a Cultural Facilitator to coordinate cultural projects and promote Francophone spaces in CSFTNO schools and the community. You will design, plan and organize cultural and Indigenous activities, reporting to the principal and aligning with strategic priorities.

The role requires bilingual proficiency in English and French, a valid driver’s license, and is a 0.5 FTE part-time position with a 18.75 hour work week.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Recreation or 2 years of experience in a francophone minority setting.
• Training in recreation and education is an asset.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cultural projects to promote student and staff identity development.
• Plan and organize cultural and Indigenous activities for CSFTNO students and community.
• Report to the principal and align with the Francophone and Community Space priorities.
