Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. seeks a skilled carpenter to join our field team in Edmonton. The role involves carpentry work across construction projects, reading blueprints, and building structural components on site.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent experience and 3–5 years in construction or related fields, with willingness to travel to various sites and work in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction or carpentry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
