Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled craftsman to join our construction team in Ontario. The role involves reading plans, cutting and assembling materials, and helping build foundations and walls.

You will work across various locations, including renovations and industrial projects, and travel as needed with your own transportation. The position requires 2 years to less than 3 years of experience and 30–50 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Ability to measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials.
• Experience with installation of walls, floors and basic carpentry components.
• Travel to various locations with adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
