Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Halifax, NS is seeking a skilled carpenter to read blueprints, prepare layouts, and install windows, doors and mouldings on commercial and residential projects.

You will measure, cut, shape and join wood and related materials, and coordinate site activities with crew members. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of carpentry experience, a secondary school diploma, and own safety boots.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites.
