Job summary

Two Pillars Construction in Surrey, BC, is seeking a construction labourer to read blueprints, measure and cut materials, and help build foundations, floors, walls and roof systems.

You will install windows and doors, work on-site at various commercial locations, instruct apprentices, and adhere to safety protocols while contributing to reliable team performance. This role requires physical stamina and teamwork in a noisy, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education required.
• 2 years to less than 3 years of construction experience.
• On-site work with no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials such as wood or steel.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, subfloors and erect walls/roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
• Instruct apprentices.
