Job summary

Autism Services is seeking a construction professional in Canada to work on site across various locations. The role involves reading blueprints, preparing layouts, cutting and assembling materials, and building foundational structures.

The candidate should be willing to relocate and have own transportation with a valid driver's license. Candidates should be accurate, client-focused, and able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction field preferred.
• English or French language proficiency as required by posting.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials (wood, substitutes, lightweight steel, other).
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.

Tasks
