About Foundry

OneSky Community Resources was the lead agency working with almost 20 community partners to establish and operate Foundry Penticton. Foundry BC is a provincial initiative to expand access to mental healthcare, substance use services, primary care, and social services for young people across BC through a branded network of “one-stop shop” centres. By bringing together a variety of health and social services under one roof, and working in partnership with young people and families, Foundry will help young people get the help they need when they need it.
Job Summary

Reporting to a OneSky Program Director, this role will manage the daily operations of an integrated wellness centre for youth ages 12–24. As a member of OneSky’s leadership team, the role provides program oversight to all aspects of the Foundry Penticton centre, including operational, clinical, financial, and human resource management. The Team Leader works within a multi-agency service delivery framework and is an advocate for youth and peer support in the community.


Team Leader Responsibilities


Operational and Program Oversight

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Foundry Penticton, addressing concerns related to co-location and service integration.
  • Collaborate with the care team and other services to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans and interventions for clients and their families.
  • Develop the Foundry model in conjunction with OneSky senior management and Foundry Central Office, ensuring deliverables and key performance indicators are achieved.
  • Work with partner agencies to fine-tune the service delivery model and identify potential challenges regarding integrated services.
  • Represent Foundry Penticton in the community and deliver public presentations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of community resources and service providers, fostering positive relationships.
  • Assess the evolving needs of youth and families in the community and implement operational changes to meet those needs.

Clinical Oversight

  • Coordinate the development, management, and provision of clinical services and programs in collaboration with the Program Director and Clinical Lead.
  • Facilitate best practices, such as the stepped model of care, interdisciplinary primary care, and FamilySmart approaches.
  • Lead an interdisciplinary team that provides screening, assessment, and treatment planning to Foundry clients.
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing revision of clinical policies and procedures.

HR, Administrative, and Financial Oversight

  • Ensure staff and facilities provide a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and youth-friendly environment.
  • Supervise a staff team of OneSky employees, allocating and adjusting staffing to meet operational needs.
  • Foster a team environment of continuous learning, effective communication, and service excellence.
  • Incorporate cultural safety and trauma-informed practice throughout the centre.
  • Develop and distribute written reports, client records, and risk assessments as per agency policies and Foundry Central Office guidelines.
  • Maintain financial responsibility, risk management, and accountability.
  • Respond to and support staff during critical incidents and high-risk situations.

Responsibilities to the Agency

  • Maintain a commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality services that respect client choices and abilities.
  • Uphold confidentiality and agency policies.
  • Support Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and accreditation requirements.
  • Participate in OneSky meetings and events as required.
  • Perform related duties to ensure the operations and integrity of the program.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant discipline at a Master’s level is preferred.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in nursing, social work, community development, counselling, health, or leadership.
  • Experience with youth services and integrated service delivery.
  • Clinical experience and knowledge of team-based care and stepped-care models.
  • Proven ability to work effectively during crises.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience, including multidisciplinary and cross-sector initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of government and community-based programs and provincial/community support systems.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • High proficiency in oral and written communication.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Youth-friendly with an understanding of the challenges and community factors impacting young people.

  • Completion of required OneSky training for all employees
