Overview
The Foster Parent Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading recruitment efforts in Family Foster Care Parent home development. The role involves leading the state recruitment team to develop territories, increase targeted populations, develop sales plans, build rapport with potential candidates, and raise awareness about the need for families. Additionally, the manager will guide new families through the SAFE home study process, coordinate with the recruitment team to mitigate applications, and oversee homes through the state licensing process.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective recruitment and marketing strategies to grow foster parent homes with the State Recruitment Team.
- Lead recruitment discussions with the team using polished communication skills.
- Maintain current data in Foster Parent Pipeline and coordinate weekly updates with the recruitment team.
- Identify growth areas within the team through listening and consultative selling.
- Serve as a leadership role within the recruitment team.
- Manage multiple recruitment opportunities with a focus on follow-up and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with all agency and state licensing requirements.
- Guide families through certification processes, including necessary documentation.
- Apply the company's consultative selling strategy to build relationships with referral sources.
- Participate in strategic planning and analysis with the recruitment team.
- Coordinate with the Director for in-services, presentations, and addressing referral source issues.
- Negotiate contracts with facilities, insurance companies, and managed care organizations.
- Engage in community programs to promote professional growth.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement processes.
- Promote the company's philosophy to referral sources.
- Support a safe, dignified, and private environment for all clients.
- Implement procedures to meet new home development goals.
- Complete required in-service training and adhere to dress and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Counseling, Human Services, Behavioral Science, or Public Administration.
- At least three years of experience in a Child Placing Agency, Department of Family and Children Services, or Non-Profit Agency preferred.
- Two to four years in Resource Development/Foster Parent Recruitment and Retention preferred.
- Experience in marketing, fundraising, and event coordination is preferred.
- One to five years in full-cycle recruiting in a professional environment; experience in sales, insurance, or financial services recruitment preferred.
- State-specific Foster Parent Pre-Service Training Certificate.
- SAFE certified Home Study Writer Certification preferred.
- Strong recruiting mentality and knowledge of the recruitment lifecycle.

- Proficiency in social media recruiting strategies.
- Business acumen and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work with remote teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with the ability to implement and enforce processes.
