Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies seeks a forward-deployed engineer to be the bridge between client needs and our platform, embedding with client teams to map workflows and identify high-leverage AI use cases, then shipping and iterating in production.

You will work across engineering, product, and trusted-advisor roles, writing real code and joining the room where work happens, with on-site time in Toronto as required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years shipping software with strong full-stack ability (TypeScript + Python).
• Ability to lead a room with clients, without ego, and handle ambiguity.
• Experience building with LLMs and integrating with third-party systems and APIs.
• Based in or near Toronto, able to be on-site with clients when required.

Forward-deployed engineers are the bridge between what a client needs and what we build. You will embed with a customer team, find the highest-leverage use case, and ship it, then iterate in production until it earns its place in their day.

It is part engineering, part product, part trusted advisor. You write real code and you also sit in the room where the work actually happens.

• 4+ years shipping software, with strong full-stack ability (TypeScript + Python).
• You enjoy ambiguity and client contact, and can lead a room without ego.
• Comfortable building with LLMs and integrating with third-party systems and APIs.
• Based in or near Toronto, able to be on-site with clients when it matters.

Nice to have

• Consulting, solutions-engineering, or startup-founder background.
• Experience with enterprise integrations (Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, etc.).
