Caspian One is partnering with an AI Start Up to hire an experienced AI Engineer to join their delivery ecosystem in Toronto. You will take AI solutions from concept to production, working on-site with clients to integrate systems and ensure adoption.

This role focuses on hands-on delivery, building, deploying, and scaling AI solutions that solve tangible business problems, with strong emphasis on fast, measurable outcomes and customer-facing delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering AI or Agentic AI solutions into production environments.
• Strong experience with large language models, agent-based systems, or intelligent workflow automation.
• Demonstrable experience rolling out AI solutions in a client-facing environment.
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services.
• Ability to work with real-world, messy data across multiple systems.
• Experience integrating with APIs and distributed data sources.

Caspian One has partnered with a forward thinking and exciting AI Start Up looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join their delivery ecosystem, with a strong preference for engineers based in Toronto or the surrounding region.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, client delivery, and real world problem solving. You will be responsible for taking AI solutions from concept through to production, working closely with customers on-site to integrate systems, navigate complexity, and ensure successful adoption.

This is not a research role. It is a hands on delivery position focused on building, deploying, and scaling AI solutions that solve tangible business problems.

What You Will Be Doing

• Designing and deploying AI driven workflows using large language models (LLMs) and agent based architectures
• Working directly with client systems to connect, map, and contextualise distributed data sources without heavy data ingestion
• Building context layers that reflect business rules, proprietary data, and operational processes
• Developing production ready solutions that integrate with existing enterprise environments
• Collaborating with clients through the full lifecycle, from initial use case definition through to deployment and adoption
• Handling complex delivery scenarios including change management, stakeholder alignment, and technical challenges
• Supporting rapid delivery cycles, typically delivering working solutions within 6 to 12 weeks
• Contributing to ongoing expansion by identifying additional use cases and opportunities within existing clients
• Ensuring solutions meet defined service levels where managed applications are required
• Working closely with distributed teams and partners across North America and internationally

What They Are Looking For

• Proven experience delivering AI or Agentic AI solutions into production environments
• Strong experience working with large language models, agent based systems, or intelligent workflow automation
• Demonstrable experience rolling out AI solutions in a client/customer-facing environment
• Experience working across financial services or other heavily regulated industries
• Ability to work with real world, messy data across multiple systems and environments
• Experience integrating with APIs, enterprise platforms, and distributed data sources
• Strong understanding of how to move from proof of concept to scalable, production ready systems
• Experience working through change management and getting solutions successfully adopted
• Ability to operate independently while collaborating across a wider team
• A pragmatic, delivery focused mindset with a strong bias towards outcomes

• Exposure to value engineering or ROI driven solution design
• Experience working in consulting or client facing delivery roles

Working Model

• Toronto based candidates are strongly preferred, with a hybrid or onsite presence where possible
• Flexible for exceptional candidates across Canada or aligned time zones

• This role is typically delivered on a contract basis, with long term extensions for high performing individuals
• Initial projects are usually 6 to 12 weeks, with strong opportunity for ongoing work so contracts are released 6-12months.
• 14 day termination terms, but the business is focused on building long term relationships with top talent
