Job summary

Fort McKay Métis Contracting, part of Fort McKay Metis Group Ltd, is seeking a Module Attendant for a local on-site role at Suncor Fort Hills in Fort McMurray, AB. The position features a 14 days on, 7 off rotation with 12-hour days, and camp accommodation is provided on-site.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, fueling, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment, plus monitoring indicators and safe operations.

Qualifications

  • Must have valid driver’s licence and be able to access client sites.
  • Pre-employment drug, alcohol, and physical abilities testing required.
  • CSO certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct vehicles into fueling area and provide fuel to client equipment.
  • Monitor equipment indicators to ensure optimal operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance, fueling, cleaning, and lubrication.
  • Maintain safety records and reports in line with procedures.
  • Collaborate with teammates in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Report equipment damages, maintenance needs and delays to supervisor.
  • Perform additional duties to ensure top client services.

Job description

This is a local position working at our client site Suncor Fort Hills in Fort McMurray, AB. The shift for this position is 14 days on , 7 days off followed by 14 nights on 7 days off rotation working 12-hour days.

The successful local candidate will be required to remain on-site during the rotation, camp accommodation provided. Non-local candidates will be provided flights to/from Edmonton or Calgary, AB and camp accommodation provided.

The Role:

The Module Attendant is responsible for performing routine maintenance, fueling, cleaning, and lubricating, various pieces of equipment.The nature of this position includes duties that include both heavily skilled and manual tasks. There is also a requirement to be skilled in operating small and mobile equipment.

Accountabilities:
  • Safely direct vehicles into fueling area and provide fuel to client equipment.
  • Monitorequipmentandindicatorstoensure optimal operations.
  • Complete maintenance tasks to ensure equipment, housekeeping, and work areas are kept to best standards and safe working conditions.
  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and fueling of equipment.
  • Collaborate with teammates in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.
  • Report any equipment damages, maintenance requirements, and delays to supervisor.
  • Maintain safety records and reports in compliance with procedure.
  • Perform any additional duties as required to ensure top client services are provided.
Requirements and Competencies:
  • Class One (1) or Three (3) with Air Brake Endorsement Drivers Licence is an asset.
  • Minimum Class Five (5) Drivers Licence is required.
  • Satisfactory 5-year Drivers Abstract.
  • Ability to access all client sites as required.
  • Able to work in all weather and working site conditions.
  • Physically able to complete the duties of the position.
  • Successfully complete all pre-employment drug, alcohol, and physical abilities testing.
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO) certification or equivalent.
Schedule:
  • The schedule is14 days on, 7 off followed by 14 nights on, 7 days offrotation working 12-hour days.
