McKay Métis Contracting is seeking an experienced Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician for a temporary position at our client site at Fort Hills. The assignment runs until December 31, 2026, with a 14 nights on/14 days off schedule and 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities include diagnosing, servicing, and repairing heavy equipment and trucks, maintaining logs, and preparing cost estimates. Valid driver’s license is required; CVIP license is an asset.

The Role:
Diagnose, service, and repair various systems that are found on heavy equipment and trucks such as mechanical and computer electronic controls, air brake systems, transmissions, computer controlled automatic and 13 speed manual transmissions.
