Job summary

Giusti Group of Companies in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a skilled Formwork Carpenter to read blueprints, calculate requirements, and build footing and form works using wood and light steel. You will measure, cut, shape, and join materials to meet codes and project specs.

Responsibilities

• Build and set footing, read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Construct concrete form works.
