Job summary

Giusti Group LP is hiring for full-time formwork carpentry on-site in Victoria, BC. The role focuses on building footings, erecting formwork systems, pouring concrete, and safely handling scaffolding and stairs.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of cribbing/formwork carpentry experience, plus proficiency with power tools and blueprint reading. CSTS training or willingness to obtain it is required. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of cribbing/formwork carpentry experience is required.
• Ability to operate power tools, machines and hand tools safely.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings accurately.
• Must be a motivated, hardworking team player who can work Saturdays.
• Must adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with crew.
• Possess CSTS training or be willing to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Build and set footings to establish solid foundations.
• ERECT/DISMANTLE concrete forming systems correctly.
• Construct columns with precision for structural integrity.
• Safely erect and dismantle scaffolding on active sites.
• Construct suspended slabs and elevated platforms.
• Shape concrete stairs with accuracy and care.
• Assist in elevator core and retaining wall construction.
• Maintain safety and collaborate with the team daily.
