Job summary

Giusti Group Limited Partnership is seeking skilled carpenters for concrete formwork and related tasks in Victoria, BC. This full-time role focuses on building footings, erecting formwork, and contributing to safe, efficient site operations.

You will work with camlocks, clamps, and modular systems, reading blueprints and collaborating with a safety‑conscious team. A valid CSTS or equivalent certification and a driver’s license are expected; transport may be needed for some projects.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cribbing/formwork carpentry experience.
• Proficient with power tools, machines and hand tools.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints/drawings with accuracy.
• Willing to work extra hours and Saturdays when required.
• Strong team player with a safety-first mindset.
• Own personal hand tools and a skill saw.
• Hold safety certificates such as Fall Arrest, First-Aid, Telehandler Forklift (assets).
• Have valid driver’s license and own a vehicle; transit may be unreliable.

Responsibilities

• Build and set footings to provide a strong project foundation.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forming systems (camlocks, burke clamps, pilosio).
• Construct and erect columns with precision for structural integrity.
• Safely erect and dismantle scaffolding on site.
• Construct suspended slabs and elevated platforms.
• Shape concrete stairs with accuracy.
• Contribute to elevator cores construction.
• Build retaining walls of functional and aesthetic value.

• Put your skills to work as you build and set footings, ensuring a strong foundation for our projects.
• Showcase your expertise in erecting and dismantling concrete forming systems, such as camlocks, burke clamps, and pilosio modular formwork.
• Construct and erect columns with precision, contributing to the structural integrity of our buildings.
• Play a crucial role in the safe erection and dismantling of scaffolding, ensuring the safety of our team and site personnel.
• Take pride in constructing suspended slabs, creating elevated platforms that elevate our projects to new heights.

Qualifications:
