Alberta is looking for skilled tradespeople across multiple locations to perform carpentry tasks that include reading blueprints, preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, and assembling wood-based materials. The role involves building foundations, installing beams and walls, and fitting windows and doors.

Candidates should have a secondary school certificate and be comfortable working in diverse sites. This position may involve supervising apprentices and coordinating with other construction

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
