Job summary

Canadian Executive Search Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for a local food processing facility in Chatham-Kent. This temporary-to-permanent role requires coordinating loading and unloading, shipping, receiving, and internal transport within the facility.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid forklift certificate and have 2+ years of experience, with strong hand-eye coordination, physical fitness, and clear communication.

Qualifications

Canadian Executive Search Group is looking to hire a Forklift Operators for a local food processing facility in Chatham-Kent.

Location: Chatham-Kent (not on a bus route)

Role Type: Temporary to Permanent

Hours per Week: Full-time (40+ hrs weekly)

Start Date: Immediate

Schedule: Monday through Saturday

• Straight Day’s: 7:00 am to 3:30pm
• Straight Afternoon’s: 3:30pm to 12:00am

Wage: $20.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards.
• Adhering to safety management standards.
• Adhering to production schedules.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid fork-lifting certificate 2 > years experience preferred.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery.
• Good physical condition.
• Mathematical aptitude.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication.
