Job summary

Adecco is hiring an experienced Cherry Picker Forklift Operator for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity in Milton, ON. The role focuses on accurate order picking, forklift operation, and general warehouse tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Pay starts at $21.00/hour, rising to $22.50 after training, with weekly pay and 4% vacation; eligibility to become a permanent hire. Candidates must have a valid forklift certification and at least one year of cherry picker experience, and be able to lift up

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Cherry Picker / Order Picker Forklift in a warehouse.
• Valid forklift Certification.
• Experience with palletizing, order picking, and general labour tasks.
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Cherry Picker / Order Picker Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Pick, move, and stage products using warehouse equipment and RF scanners.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and safety.
• Support palletizing, order preparation, and general warehouse activities.
• Assist with material handling and inventory movement throughout the facility.
• Follow all company safety, housekeeping, and operational procedures.

Job description

Adecco is hiring an experienced Cherry Picker Forklift Operator for a full-time opportunity in Milton, ON. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in order picking, forklift operation, warehouse operations, material handling, shipping and receiving, and inventory management.

As a Cherry Picker Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in warehouse operations by accurately picking orders, moving inventory, loading and unloading trailers, and supporting daily distribution activities. Forklift Operator Job Duties:

• Operate a Cherry Picker / Order Picker Forklift safely and efficiently.

• Pick, move, and stage products using warehouse equipment and RF scanners.

• Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and safety.

• Support palletizing, order preparation, and general warehouse activities.

• Assist with material handling and inventory movement throughout the facility.

• Follow all company safety, housekeeping, and operational procedures.

Forklift Operator Requirements:

• Valid forklift Certification.

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating a Cherry Picker / Order Picker Forklift in a warehouse environment.

• Previous warehouse, distribution centre, or material handling experience.

• Experience with palletizing, order picking, and general labour tasks.

• Experience using slip sheets is considered an asset.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working at heights.

• Strong attention to safety and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
