Job summary

Congebec Inc in Winnipeg is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join our permanent evening or night shifts. You will handle loading/unloading, pallet placement, and order picking while ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Validate quantities and products received and ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
• Unload and load customer merchandise.
• Place pallets on shelves according to system data.
• Prepare customer orders using order picking and verify quantities.
• Follow warehouse policies (OHS, BRCGS, HACCP).
• Perform height work using safety equipment.
• Perform other related duties.

Schedule

• Evening: Monday to Friday 3:00PM to 11:30PM
• or Night: Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday 9:30PM to 6:00AM
• $ 22.12 ($ 22.97 after probation)
• Premiums:
  • Evening: $ 0.60
  • Night: $ 1.00

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for :

• Validate quantities and products received and ensure compliance with established standards and regulations;
• Proceed to the customers’ merchandise unloading and loading;
• Place the pallets on the shelves according to the information provided by the system;
• Prepare customer orders using order picking and ensure quantity and compliance;
• Respect warehouse policies, procedures, standards and regulations (OHS, BRCGS, HACCP, etc.);
• Perform height work using the appropriate safety equipment (eg. look for a pallet in the pallet rack, pick up a fallen pallet, …);
• Perform other related duties.

TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma (asset);
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field;

REQUIREMENTS FOR HIRING

• Ability to lift loads up to 30 kg (66lbs);
• Ability to work in height Hold the forklift driving card (asset);
• Availability to work on another shift when required;
• Team Player and Punctual;
• Adopt safe behavior at work.
