Job summary

Fresh Direct Produce is seeking full-time Warehouse Operators in Calgary, Alberta, to join our Operations Team. You will work with a team to ensure products are handled properly and in compliance with health and safety standards. Training will be provided.

Shift requirement includes Sat, Sun, Mon, Wed & Fri from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; weekend availability is required. This role involves organizing coolers, packing orders, loading trailers, and supporting quality control, customer service, and site

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year warehouse experience preferred.
• Powerjack/Forklift experience is an asset.
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Produce knowledge is an asset.
• Comfortable working in and out of coolers.
• Strong teamwork mentality and practices.
• Knowledge of workplace safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Organizing coolers & rotating products.
• Accuracy in packing orders according to packing slips (Day packers).
• Loading/unloading trailers (Receivers).
• May assist QC leader with quality control and inspection for products.
• Providing quality service to customers.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and tidy.
• Complying with food safety regulations, and company procedures.
