Job Summary

In a production environment, Forklift Operators use sit down propane lifts to load and unload materials, moving them to and from productions areas, storage areas and loading docks to the storage area within the yard, or on trucks for shipping.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Moving goods packed on pallets around the storage facility
• Performing daily equipment checks
• Daily 5S Audits
• Stacking goods in the correct storage areas, updating the 5S shipping board
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Work safely and responsibly and follow all safety policies and procedures
• Perform work according to accepted procedures and practices
• Change out propane tanks
• Keep accurate records of production data
• Communicate all concerns affecting safety, quality, productivity and the work environment to the Supervisor.
